Where is St Georgen?
There are several towns and villages named after St George (St Georgen) in Austria – but the specific village where Harnoncourt is to be buried is St Georgen im Attergau, a little to the west of Salzburg.
The village has beautiful views of the Attersee lake, below. A very nice area for holidays, hiking, and mountain walks.
