He’s also tickled the ivories at the top of a mountain fjord (the piano was choppered in, I seem to remember).
Is it possible, Mr. Lebrecht, to post these photos so they are larger? For example, this photo of Andsnes has him as less than 1/2-inch tall on my desktop monitor. Nearly all of the photos on your website are very small and hard to see.

Mr. Andsnes’ latest Beethoven interpretations (“The Beethoven Voyage”, sic) are fine but his sensation-seeking happenings, like piano-playing in a fjord or when he destroyed a piano when playing in the middle of running water, are irritating and unserious.
