Maestro stays: Andrew renews Down Under

Melbourne Symphony Orchestra has announced that Sir Andrew Davis has renewed to 2019. Andrew, 71, holds parallel jobs as music director at Chicago Lyric Opera and emeritus at the Royal Liverpool Phil.

Fabulous news. He has enchanced the standard of orchestral playing in Melbourne enormously, and he brings international stars to Australia as well. Stay on as long as you like Sir Andrew!
