Sunday listening: Palestine in Brooklyn
mainThe last few minutes of an extraordinary organ recital given last March by Charlemagne Palestine at the Plymouth Church in Brooklyn Heights. Watch a hypnotic eyeful, catch an earful of this.
h/t: Allan Evans
How imaginative
Even I could manage that and I don’t play any kind of keyboard.
So could a five year old
I hope no one had to pay to listen to it.
Needless to say, the organ was the star of that show.
Don’t tell us: You could do Jackson Pollock’s paintings, too (and so could your five-year-old) …
Who’s Jackson Pollock?
Is he someone who would appear at Tate Modern in London?
I don’t go there as they seem to be unable to spell. It should, most of the time, be referred to at Tas Modern.
Sorry last bit should read Tat Modern
