This is fine. All Ukrainian voices must be heard. It is their country, but one should take care to get one’s facts straight in whatever way possible. I would take issue with his account of police brutality especially since it is contrary to the report of Timoshenko’s private doctor that the Estonian Foreign Minister recounted to Catherine Ashton in their confirmed recorded conversation, and contrary to numerous reports that many of the police in Maidan were unarmed and some were shot or bludgeoned to death. @ed How ironic that a man who ostensibly is concerned about fascism in Ukraine quotes a Holocaust denier and notorious anti-Semite as a source. Israel Shamir, or whatever name he’s using now, has a long, public track record of Russian apologism and Jewish hatred. He is reported to have provided Russia with anti-American documents from Wikileaks.

What does TYmoshenko’s private doctor have to do with it? She was in prison at the time, in Kharkiv, far away from Kyiv. If she even had a private doctor, he would have been with her.

The “numerous reports” you discuss are not the least credible, given your source.

You may continue to link to Russian propaganda here, but it does not make it true. I do wonder – what is your game? Are you receiving money? Favors? Or are you just truly so very gullible?
