We have learned of the death of Jaroslav Mihule, noted authority on the life and works of Bohuslav Martinu and artistic administration at leading Czech opera houses.

Jaroslav was 90.

    A great shame that Mr. Mihule, a distinguished and lovely man, will now not be able to enjoy next summer’s Bard Music Festival—which will be devoted to Martinu.
