Mr. Yoon has a problem that US President-elect Trump has… he won his office with less than 50% of the vote, more people voted against him than for him.
That goes for the majority of the world’s prime ministers and presidents, but most don’t have Yoon’s problems.
According to a quick google search Trump received 77,269,255 votes, while Harris received 74,983,555 votes.
If this is the kind of truth telling you’re going to resort to you are no better than the MAGA people you despise.
You Americans are an interesting bunch.
Trump and Harris were not the only candidates even though they were the only major ones. If you want to calculate the percentage of total votes you have to include all candidates. Jill Stein receive 782,235 votes, Robert Kennedy received 755,131votes even though he had dropped out. Chase Oliver received 640,908 and other candidates received 388,713. That means Trump received 49.9% of the total vote which is less than half. Maybe not statistically significant compared to half but still less than half and not necessarily the overwhelming mandate the Republicans are claiming. Nothing untruthful about the original commenter’s statement.
