Message from the Kansas diva:

Last night: I kept vigil through the whole night and early morning. Then my eyes closed – numb – of their own volition. I woke a few minutes/lifetimes later bathed in tears from what felt like centuries ago.

This morning: shattered and wrung out from my deep core, I went about my daily duties as if projected unwillingly onto an old movie screen: out of body/out of heart.

This noon: reaching … reaching to connect. Reaching out to loved ones to tether to this precious, terrifying, seismic moment.

This 3:00: defiance arrived through the dense fog of bewilderment to the soundtrack of wrung out church bells.

This evening: clarity danced belligerently as I reclaimed my sacred and unassailable contract with my Self: NO ONE WILL STEAL MY JOY, ROB ME OF MY PURPOSE, STEER ME OFF COURSE. I/We will always be bigger than any single moment

This moment: a clarion call echoes and shivers throughout my soul to zoom out … further … further … and yet still further … and marvel at the inevitable atomic, blink-of-an-eye tsunami that will conjure storms and waves and troubles … and maybe … ah, YES! maybe …. Zoom out further …. Yes maybe it will bring healing.

This…

    Beautiful words, but…

    …wasn’t “Morgen” a Nazi favorite?

She doth protest too much (and I am no DT supporter)
