F-X Roth is still cancelling
OrchestrasThe Councertgebouw has announced a replacement for the French conductor who is struggling with disclosures of dick-pics that he sent to female musicians.
At issue is an ambitious Schoenberg weekend in October:
François-Xavier Roth, who was originally scheduled to conduct these concerts, has decided to withdraw after consultation with the orchestra. Soprano Barbara Hannigan has unfortunately also had to cancel the production. The Concertgebouw Orchestra is looking forward to presenting this ambitious Schoenberg project with Ryan Wigglesworth and Sara Jakubiak.
