Australia’s Couperin man has died
RIPThe musicologist David Evatt Tunley has died in Perth at the age of 96.
A student of Nadia Boulanger in Paris, he wrote a seminal work on the French 18th century cantata and was decorated for his efforts in both countries.
Vale Professor Tunley. A most intelligent man who was a key part of the golden era (70s-90s) at the School of Music at the University of Western Australia.
