The Baltimore Chamber Orchestra has chosen Robert Moody (pic) as its Music Director. He is also MD of the Memphis Symphony, where he suffered a recent bereavement.

Up the road, Maryland’s Columbia Orchestra has chosen local hero Richard Scerbo as its chief conductor.

    As a member of the viola section, we are thrilled to have Maestro Moody join us at the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra. What an exciting new era at BCO. Richard Scerbo at the Columbia Orchestra is another great choice. It’s a wonderful day for music in Maryland.
