I find the juxtaposition of the terms “crucifixion” and “comfort zone” slightly unsettling.
Especially on Good Friday.
We once sang this to open the Easter service, a reminder of what had been overcome. But this version IMO suffers from too many voices and muddy acoustics. Pity, because it seems to be well sung on the occasional phrase when one can make out a clear vocal line.
