Shame on you, Mr Weagle. I’m looking forward to the performances.

Just seeing that lead photo makes me hate the “opera world” even more. Such smug self-satisfaction.
My thoughts entirely. Hideous pic.
Four great musicians enjoying their work.
What a joke. Nothing say “professional” like not knowing your words or notes in a rehearsal at a major venue. I particularly love that when Pappano tells he she’s sharp, Netrebko’s response is to make it darker. Like that’s how you sing in the right pitch, darker makes it in tune. Give me a break. Also, I don’t know what language she is singing, but it’s not Italian.
There was a time in addition to singing, Netrebko could have danced The Dance of the Hours, now, it would be a hippo in a tutu.
Be careful, Save the MET, your misogyny’s showing…
The same people who cheered not only to visiting Soviet artists, but the USSR in general, are now demanding cancellation of Netrebko.
Well, we`ll see if our time beats the Cold War. And how.
