Israel Phil harpist steps down
OrchestrasMessage from Julia Rovinsky:
Thank you, dear Maestro Zubin Mehta, for being my guiding light and mentor throughout these incredible 30 years of music-making. Your unwavering support and belief in me have meant everything. As I take this moment to reflect, I realize it’s time for a new chapter, one that sees me stepping away from my current role within the orchestra. To all my fellow harpists, I encourage you to prepare for the upcoming audition, the opportunity to become the next Principal Harpist of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra awaits.
how else are you supposed to use the pedals?
She will hopefully step down also from running the Israel Harp Contest into the ground, once the finest, most-important competition in the world of the harp. Now it has devolved into a junior partner of the questionable USAIHC in Bloomington, Indiana.
