I believe the headline should have read: Dresden Picks Israeli ‘bone (with an apostrophe and a lowercase b).
“Dresden Picks Israeli Bone” could be taken another way.
But perhaps I just have an overactive imagination.
A good point, SlippedChat. And had Norman gone with the agent noun, he could have made the headline:
Dresden has a new ‘boner!
I agree with your comment about “BONE”! What were they thinking?
and the incoming music director is happy with the new hire as well: “Gatti Pleased to Be Getting Bone”
Congratulations, Tomer! This is a big job. I’ve always liked trombonists.
Seems a little odd ..these temporary contracts come up all the time and don’t warrant a mention here, I send my very best wishes to Tomer nonetheless, congratulations!
Half of the Dresden audience is having a boner.
