That’ll help.

Peace for All involved, otherwise there will be none. Many have tried, all have failed! An eye for an eye has never worked.
It worked reasonably well in World War 2, Dieter.
False equivalence. WW2 started by „an eye for nothing“. Hitler‘s racist and belligerent ideology aimed for conquest and genocide, unprovoked in its proportion.
Of course there is no exact “equivalence”, but there are striking similarities, the main of which is that in both cases the ultimate goal of murderers is genocide against Jews.
Yet about ten times more Palestinians were murdered by Israelis in this long term conflict, than the other way around. Doesn‘t sound like genocide by Palestinians to Israelis to me.
Millions of non-Jews were also targeted & killed Hitler’s genocide. Jews were not his ultimate or singular goal.
An eye for an eye won’t work here…But maybe Hamas will think twice before pulling this again if Israel’s response is swift and large.
Hamas’ charter says to kill every Jew. As long as the Palestinians continue to elect Hamas terrorists as their leaders, there will be no peace, unfortunately.
There hasn’t been an election in gaza for 17 years, everyone under 37 in gaza had no choice in hamas and its rise to power and given almost 50% of gazas population is under 18 the vast majority did not pick hammas and can not be held responsible for their crimes.
Polls are showing US youth aren’t approving with Biden’s unequivocal support of Israel as much as elders. Encouraging really that leadership of both sides needs to moderate and change.
No one is holding them responsible. Israel has no choice but to end Hamas.
Let them do it on their own dime. No need for Biden & the US to be involved.
A much needed humane sentiment to counter EK’s bloodthirsty triumphalism.
Wishing to destroy those who are truly “bloodthirsty” is the most humane sentiment right now – EK is simply more realistic than many.
who is EK?
Most likely, these initials refer to a British-Israeli middle-aged world-class Russian-born Prague-based pianist – see https://slippedisc.com/2023/10/evgeny-kissin-jews-are-alive-and-we-are-fighting/ .
Israel needs more than broken hearts and prayers for peace if it is to survive.
I think Secretary of State Blinken did the right thing in publicly saying the US has Israel’s back. The only reason that Israel still survives is because so many of them are American dual citizens. As a Jewish man, at least he didn’t say his heart was breaking!!
Haters gonna hate.
Faithful consistent prayer uttered up to our Father God
which which grow from the results of FAITH
will surely be answered in His time!!!! Glory to God in the highest!
As someone whose personal history includes 4 years as US Army infantry officer (likely before you were born), I have no doubt that Israel’s military might will have the capacity to obliterate Hamas’ military force. Nonetheless, I doubt Israel’s judgment in using that force in a wise & prudent fashion.
Much like American force destroyed al queda, or the taliban? There is no military solution to hamas. Isreal could kill every fighter they have but the minute the bullets stop more fighters will rise. Its an ideology forged from hate caused by the pain of bloodshed. Peace will only last if obtained through talking not gun, how do so many people struggle to see that.
Please remind me how about 80 years ago in Europe peace was “obtained through talking not gun”.
They are surrounded by hostility. No way to live….. it was a big mistake.
There is no other practical solution, or more complicated.
Power, weapons, and extremists are out of control.
Absolutely and on both sides of the spectrum!
That could easily apply to isreal too, the bombs killing innocent Palestinians right now came from the west.
Just curious, how would you suggest Israel should have responded to the massacre by a terror organization whose purpose is to wipe out all Jews and the state of Israel?
NC please know your history.
This war is not about hamas but the 70 years of occupation crimes and terrorism by Israel.
First they could have prevented the attack. Every square inch of Gaza is under 24 hour Satelite surveillance! It is perhaps the most surveilled parcel of land on this planet. The question is did Israeli Intelligence know about this attack and simply ignored it or nothing? Hopefully, investigations will help answer this question. Until the Palestinian Issue is addressed and a two nation state emerges out of this crisis and/or future crises it doesn’t matter if every Hamas militant is eliminated in Gaza because new radicalized militants will emerge out of the carnage witnessed on Arab televisions of a Palestinian genocide in Gaza if the ground invasion takes place.
Absolutely! Keeping people as caged animals in a Concentration Camp will inspire more terrorists even if the present group(Hamas) is removed from the scene.
Israeli’s too have killed many tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians. Violence will beget more violence in an endless cycle!
Thank you. All hostages must remain healthy and nourished otherwise there will never be peace there. Peace agreement now. Before it is too late.
We are with you in our prayers. Unfortunately, a separate Palestinian State has been long overdue and we are now seeing the results. Let’s pray that a Diplomatic Solution finally emerges whether from America that has thus far failed to deliver a Palestinian State or from other major powers Russia and China that will soon offer a comprehensive pathway to a separate Palestinian State.
Israel needs to map out a security architecture that prevents such tragedies in the future!
A separate Palestinian state with Hamas as its leaders? Aren’t there enough theocracies and dictatorships causing endless suffering in the world? The only Palestinian state should be when they have reasonable leaders with proven human rights records.
I hope your not implying Israel and the United States are ‘beacons’ of human rights! America’s wars in the Middle East have been unmitigated disasters.
Why is his heart breaking? Are Israeli lies and deceit the cause??
It’s for the innocent on both sides and there area innocent people on both sides of this conflict!
not taking side is a smart move.
Very disappointing
Not direct condemnation of Hammas.
For someone both in Israel I expected more than woke sentimentality.
Well said guy
EVERYONE condemns and should condemn Hamas. Evil savagery is what it is!
Praying for peace… who with? Hamas?
Lame cop-out of a non-statement. Some “elder statesman”.
Age alone does not make an elder statesman, despite our deep respect their professional accomplishments.
Seek the Lord and be victorious in Actions Civilized
Short and sweet.
Hamas must be destroyed.
And then what? The naivite, along with their ignorance and lack of critical thinking, of the majority of „us“, is frightening.
Sam please know your history.
This tragic war is not about hamas but about the result of 70 years of brutal occupation and Israeli terrorism. Israel needs to face reality.
He doesn’t want to lose Hamas sympatizing audience
Grazie, Signor Perlman, onore a Lei.
I caution everyone against coming to the kinds of conclusions from which we’re all easily being led to by our media. The issue of how it’s possible that this event even took place given the enormity of the surveillance and redundancy of the systems in place to prevent such an invasion and atrocity should be a main focus of everyone’s attention.
If Israeli Intelligence is now bombing apartment buildings because their intelligence services are so superlative that it has identified the basements of these residential buildings as bomb making ‘factories’ how could their intelligence apparatus fail to know about this attack which had to have taken months, if not, perhaps a year to plan?
I offer you all two comprehensive discussions one of them includes a former soldier stationed at that very border fence outpost so you can appreciate the level of surveillance and redundancies in place to prevent such an invasion.
I hope none of you believe the entire Israeli Intelligence Services staff were on a one day ‘Sabbatical’ let’s call it a ‘field trip’ to the Island of Gibraltar to pick Dafodills and sing in a sea coast village choir!
Congratulations to Bret Weinstein for his razor sharp discernment!

I will also add this extraordinary presentation by Caroline Glick that is providing some alarming information about how unreasonable demands are being forced on Israeli government officials.
My question to Caroline is if Israeli Intelligence has such detailed information about the location of Hamas centers of operation such as those underground beneath hospitals, Day Care Centers, schools, etc. ( I have no reason to doubt the Israeli Intelligence isn’t remarkable in this regard) WHY DID ISRAELI INTELLIGENCE NOT KNOW about the plan of Hamas to invade Israel planning which must have taken months if not a year? Why would soldiers be removed from the very area where the invasion took place?
In regard to the Humanitarian Aid Discussion Caroline’s concerns are well taken. Who is checking the trucks and convoys to make certain the Aid is truly ‘humanitarian’ aid and not armaments for Hamas?
Moreover, Blinkin forcing the Israeli government to comply with decisions NOT OF ITS OWN making makes one wonder are all these so called ‘sovereign nations’ nothing more than ‘proxy agents’ of the U.S. to include Lebanon, Israel, etc. all forced, if necessary, to be sacrificed on behalf of ‘interests’ who stand to make large sums of money from these conflicts?
I highly recommend everyone watch Caroline Glick’s excellent presentation along with those I’ve posted earlier of Bret Weinstein!

No time to watch your propaganda, but Blinken has a say because of the billions of aid the US gives Israel. Stop taking US tax dollars & end your worries about “proxy nations”. Proxy nations, LOL. Right. Just disassociate yourselves with the US. Problem solved. For the US, too.
Plenty of US citizens do not support the barbarities of Israel.
And yes, the world sees that Israel is managing to help block all humanitarian supplies, food & water for suffering Palestinians at a border which has nothing to do with them. Talk about meddling.
Unfortunately, much of what you say is accurate. The U.S. has funded both sides so the owners of the armaments industry can reap untold of fortunes at the expense of both Israelis and Palestinians!
