  • Greg says:

Atlanta Symphony: the orchestra brass players use to find other jobs (see Tom Hooten, Mark Hughes, Stuart Stephenson, Chris Martin, Richard Deane, Colin Williams, George Curran…)

    • Axl says:

You forgot horn players Ernesto Tovar Torres, Chelsea McFarland (both to Philadelphia) and Jacklyn Rainey. Plus also trombone players Bill Thomas and Brian Hecht.
The list is long and I’m sure that it will grow / continue in future…

The last four all to the NY Phil.

  • BGS says:

Congratulations to all, but … are we sure this isn’t just Pete Buttigieg moonlighting? 😉

30 is still young! When I was 30, Richard Nixon was president AND I’m still playing principal in the CSO. I’ll outlast them all and die in this chair! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

  • Larry W says:

Limoncelli completed his graduate studies at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music as a student of Barbara Butler and Charles Geyer. He has performed as acting principal trumpet of the Houston Grand Opera, where it was clear he had something special.
