Ruth Leon recommends… Richard II – RSC
Ruth Leon recommendsRichard II – RSC
Starring David Tennant, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Shakespeare’s Richard II has been hailed as the “definitive production of a great play.” I’m not sure about that, but it is definitely worth seeing and David Tennant is always watchable.
Here he masterfully captures the downfall of the plotting King Richard II, live on stage from Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of William Shakespeare. The director is Gregory Doran, recently retired long time Artistic Director of the RSC.
