Road accident knocks out Rossini maestro
OperaMessage from the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro:
Due to a road accident, Maestro Francesco Lanzillotta will not be able to direct the upcoming performances of Adelaide di Borgogna. Tonight’s performance and those of August 19 and 22 will be directed by Maestro Enrico Lombardi, his assistant, whom the Festival thanks for his immediate availability.
The Festival wishes Maestro Lanzillotta a speedy recovery.
