Walkout symphony finds new stick
NewsThe Winston-Salem Symphony in North Carolina lost its last music director two years ago to burnout.
After coolly surveying a long list of 67 candidates, Winston has chosen Michelle Merrill, a former assistant music director at the Detroit Symphony.
Merrill, 39, is presently conducting in Georgia.
Excellent! Good for her!
Michelle is the perfect choice for this orchestra. She has taken her time rather than rushing through a career path. Her intelligence, musicality and understanding of the needs of a community will make this an excellent tenure.

So do you.
why does it say 4 comments and only 2 show up?
