Four former students have filed a federal lawsuit accusing Roberts Wesleyan University, a Christian college in Rochester, NY, of failing to act on their allegations of sexual assault. Among the alleged miscreants is an ex-student who is now a professional opera singer.

He is not singing the role any longer. Merola Opera Program was recently informed, and he was removed before the program started it seems. He is no longer listed in the 2023 participants list: https://merola.org/artists2023
As usual: charged, convicted, and punished in the same breath.
