LSO winner lands Canada orchestra

The German conductor Clemens Schuldt, winner of the 2010 LSO Donatella Flick competition, has been named music director of the The Orchestre symphonique de Québec.

Schuldt recently finished a stint as principal conductor of the Munich Chamber Orchestra.

This is his first symphonic post.

He succeeds Fabien Gabel, who left in 2020.
