So sorry to hear. I only spoke to Max a couple of times on the phone when I was thinking of purchasing his ‘Piano Isolators’ suspension system for my grand piano. An extraordinary concept yielding a stunning improvement to the sound (though no effect on wrong notes alas).
I bought an original Rock Reference in the 80s and haven’t looked back. Sad news
I’ve just realized that you never made an article about the recent death, a few days before Christmas, of Milwaukee’s own John Koss, founder of Koss Corp. and co-inventor of the first stereophonic headphones
I had the good fortune to meet Max when I was filming a demonstration video for the isolation pads. He was an extremely nice man, and I’m sure he’ll be sorely missed.
