The London-based Philharmonia Orchestra has hired Imogen Davies as second oboe.

It’s a first hire for new music director Santtu-Matias Rouvali.

    In the footsteps of the late Jock Sutcliffe whose birthday it would have been today , Oct 6th, and who left us 20 years ago while attending a concert at St John’s Hall where he played his first concert aged 17!
