A very fine young player
Apparently he’s an excellent Horn player and Salomé is also one the finest in France.
It is one thing to choose and hire new players, but at their young age will they want to stay in the group after a year or continue to seek new horizons elsewhere?
Good thing they’ve only held this audition half a dozen times to make sure they deter anyone who isn’t local.
If “France” named him because he got a job in an orchestra located in France, and he was previously with another orchestra located in France, he isn’t really a new player, is he? Or maybe the headline is misleading…
He’s a real good player! Congrats Strasbourg! Good that even some orchestra can find a principal horn – the most toughest position to fill in orchestra!
