How long is a piece of Mozart?

Wrigley has not debased (to my knowledge) Mozart to the extent that the chocolaters in Austria have.
For those readers in the States you may be subjected to a dodgy TV advert that has completely butchered the Marriage of Figaro overture as the e-commerce soundtrack. I’m talking about blind-cut-and-paste stuff…
I find Mozart loses its flavour on the bedpost overnight.
Good one, Gary!
Dreadful! And too long.
This is better https://youtu.be/RGAPTRrAilY
That’s great!
It is as if someone had tried to write it down from memory after hearing it once in a noisy piano bar.
It also reminds me of a story my mother told of going to a grade school piano recital. One of the recitalists got stuck, she couldn’t remember the grand finale of her sonatina, so she just kept repeating the section before it, over and over and over until she gave up… in tears, of course!
Awful!
Ne touche pas à mes classiques!
Reminds me of the experiment Bernstein did with Mozart’s 40th symphony in the Harvard Lectures in 1973, except this dude takes it to extremes.
I like it! (I’m sure I’m gonna get lotsa thumbs down for that. Sorry! hopeless unmusical oaf, dovoid of all taste!)
I wonder if Hakan A Toker collaborates with Phil A Bong.
Si es juego está bien. Pero si esto es serio, que desastre.
En verdad.
Not bad.
Reminds me of Carlos Santana’s ‘cultural appropriation’ in his song “Love of My Life”, using the poco allegretto theme from Brahms Third Symphony.
Where is the video that goes along the music? Can I get a copy of it?
I thought you meant the length of one of his fingers??
I hear an allusion to the Sirtaki from Zorba the Greek at 0:42-0:55. “Alla Greca”?
Compare to 1:36-2:06 in this clip.

This seems to be a comic reimagination of how Mozart might have composed the piece through improvisation. What we hear are all the ways Mozart might have gone wrong but didn’t. So glad WAM followed the principle of measuring twice before writing once.
Too many notes…..
