All these dropouts at the Met of big names, all within a very short space of time. Flores, Skelton, Radvanovski, Blythe…to be replaced by much lesser-known singers. So – attract an audience and then – switch? Curious.
Nature of the game, unfortunately. Costello is a really excellent replacement – they’re luck to have him available.
