mainThe vastly respected Murray Perahia, whose career has been plagued by misfortune, has cancelled the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg on December 5th.
His replacement is Jan Lisiecki.

Sorry to hear this, must be getting on for a year that he’s been out now? Very much hope he will be fit to play again soon.
He canceled most of his concerts since early 2018. As far as I know his hand injury continue to affect his career. Hope he get well soon.

Vastly respected: indeed, and deservedly so.
He’s had more than his fair share of health struggles, but keeps coming back. Fingers crossed for this great musician.
