Just in: Kansas City concertmaster ends Seattle’s long search
mainNoah Geller has won the audition for the hot seat at the Seattle Symphony, an orchestra in flux with an incoming music director and a high front row turnover. It has lacked a concertmaster for the past three years.
Noah, a Juilliard grad, started out as acting assistant concertmaster with the Philadelphia Orchestra. He joined the Kansas City Symphony in 2012.
Noah is a first class talent and musician. I’ve always loved his playing and have been privileged to perform chamber music with him. He’s a terrific guy and I’m sure will be wonderful in every way for the Seattle Symphony.
Congratulations to Noah, who is an absolutely first class violinist, musician and person, and to the Seattle Symphony for having the good sense to hire him!
