Thanks for sharing. Fischer indeed understands and treats Mahler 7 as the great work that it is, in a way some others (Gergiev, Maazel) have most definitely not.
Thanks so much for posting this, Norman. I’ve watched it twice because it confirms my good feeling that I made the right choice to recently resettle in Budapest. What Fischer and the BFO are doing for Hungary is amazing, given the political situation there — from which he could very easily walk away but chooses not to.
