Presumably the provenance is the person who bought it at Sotheby’s in November 1988 which was, I think, the last time it was up for sale (in the same auction as the autograph ms. of Kafka’s “The Trial”). The description reproduced on the website that is now selling it looks to be a straight scan of the Sotheby’s description.
