    Some of the first songs I ever heard were sung by Jean Ritchie. When it is time to go I hope to hear those songs again. If that can happen I will be able to say that my musical life started and ended in the best possible way. Although I never met her in person, I have always thought off Jean Ritchie as one of my closest friends. Her work has made my life richer.
