Tannhäuser is to be screened on August 12, the festival has announced. No details of participating cinemas. The insurance giant Allianz is picking up the tab.

    This announcement was made on May 19. And there’s a list of participating cinemas on the Bayreuth Festival website. (Only Germany and Austria, so far).
