Orchestra goes green …ish
mainIt gets dark enough in Norway at this time of year without the musicians having to get kitted out in mortuary black.
So the Norwegian radio orchestra is trying out shades of green – women in green or blue-green frocks, men in ties of varying verdancy.
Does that work for you?

This has nothing to do with Norwegian winters and for the most part isn’t all that new. The Norwegian Radio Orchestra (Kringkastingsorkestret or KORK) has been wearing “KORK-green” attire for a bit now but until recently didn’t have appropriately coloured evening gowns for the orchestra’s women to wear for special- and gala-concerts to complete the lineup.

Since they’re on the radio, they could just say they’re wearing green and no one would be the wiser.
Except for the ticket-holders attending the orchestra’s concerts in person.
