He is also chief conductor of Opera de Lyon and music director of both Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestr

Ono was previously music director at La Monai, Brussels.
Actually, Kazushi Ono will never have four jobs in the same time, because he will leave Opera de Lyon at the end of the season 2016/2017. During 9 years, he made a very good job in Lyon, and Daniele Rustioni will be the new music director in september 2017.
