    He’s THE Otello at the moment, apparently. He was slated to sing it in Santiago this summer, but…

      He sang Otello for the first time under Muti in Salzburg four years ago, at Covent Garden two years ago under Pappano and is slated to do the new production at the Met the season after next.

        Six years ago, in both Salzburg and Rome, and three years ago (unstaged) in Chicago and New York, all with RM.

    The prize amount is 100,000 SEK which is about 15,000 USD.
