Yep, looks like him alright!
There can be no doubt that this is a representation of J. Sebastian Bach. The question is, does this purport to be a portrait from the life, or is it (as it appears) derived, most likely posthumously, from one of the portraits that Elias Gottlob Haussmann painted in 1746 and 1748 (the latter possibly a corrected copy of the former). Might we have a link to a site where these questions are addressed?
