Never-ending novelist becomes never-ending opera
OperaThe Finns plan next season to premiere an opera of one of Karl Ove Knausgård’s books. The Norwegian’s autobiographical series of novels, Min Kamp runs to 3,500 pages and is presently stopping many household doors.
He is described as the literary sensation of the last decade. The opera has been composed by the Finn Sebastian Fagerlund and will be sung in Swedish. Sounds like a fun evening.
