But they were huge in their day. Wonderful singers.
When I was a wee lad, Puff the Magic Dragon, Blowin’ in the Wind, and other classics were the soundtrack of our lives. The tunes they sang were easy on the ear, memorable, beautifully harmonized and something you could relate too. Younger listeners likely missed the political and social undertones. There music will last for many generations; how many classical composers made the impact they did? RIP.
Yarrow was pardoned by President Carterr. He did get off lightly.
