Message from the Adelphi Quartet:

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the end of an era for us as the Adelphi Quartet. After seven unforgettable years of music-making, we’ve made the decision to part ways and pursue individual musical journeys.

We want to thank every single person who has supported us along the way — to our ever-attentive audience, whose presence fueled our energy and to our mentors, whose endless inspiration made us love exploring the string quartet repertoire. Our gratitude also goes to the entire Young Classical Artists Trust – YCAT team for their support throughout this journey, and to all the promoters and managers who believed in us and gave us so many wonderful opportunities. Lastly, to our beloved colleagues, friends, and families — your encouragement has meant the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for the incredible experiences we’ve shared together.

The group consists of Maxime Michaluk (Violin I / Belgium) Esther Agusti Matabosch (Violin II / Spain) Adam Newman (Viola / England) and Nepomuk Braun (Cello / Germany).

Founded in 2017 at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the quartet studied with the renowned Hagen Quartet.
