Old Vic names new boss
NewsThe Almeida director Rupert Goold has been named artistic director of the iconic Old Vic theatre, succeeding Matthew Warchus.
Goold, 52, has staged several musicals, but very little opera.

Not quite right. He staged Turandot at ENO in 2009 – the Chinese restaurant one. Possibly not surprising that there hasn’t been another.
