If they were 0-0 scores, we would have replays – maybe the competitors should replay different repertoire to different judging panels – or maybe get AI to reach a decision (VAR for classical music, anyone?)
Not everything in life is black and white. Sometimes things are equal…or just not good enough. Grading on a curve is for school, not real life.
