Cleveland abolishes faculty senate, promises ‘shared governance’
NewsA message to faculty from board chair Susan Rothman announced the replacement of the faculty senate with a ‘transitional faculty council’, comprising five teachers and three administrators.
This, she pledges, is a step towards shared governance.
Since the senate was toothless there is no reasons to expect more from the TFC.
The faculty has passed an overwhelming no-confidence vote in Paul Hogle’s administration.
Rothman is principal donor and Hogle’s main backer.
Why would any student possibly want to go to today’s CIM? What would possess parents to fund their children’s education at this travesty of a school.
Grand Moff Tarkin: “The Imperial Senate will no longer be of any concern to us. I’ve just received word that the Emperor has dissolved the council permanently. The last remnants of the Old Republic have been swept away.”
