Boston’s new baton quits two agencies
OrchestrasThe German-Colombian conductor Anna Handler who starts this month as Assistant Conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra has just fired her agents at Opus3 and KD Schmid.
Handler, 28, has moved instead to Tanja Dorn’s boutique agency in Hanover and New York.
She spent last year as one of Dudamel’s Fellows at the Los Angeles Phil.
A truly “special” person. Makes up for lack of knowledge with volumes of attitude and bossiness.
Musically there is little to write home about.
Which means she has found now the right agent.
This does not sound at all like Anna Handler that I know who is a very fine musician and one of the most pleasant and personable conductors our orchestra has ever worked with.
