  • Herbie G says:

Happy Birthday! Another great artist who didn’t need to strive for ‘celeb’ status, with all the attendant glitz and facile baubles.

  • John Humphreys says:

    Wonderful pianist, wonderful person…

  • Anthony Sayer says:

Bravo. I love artists like this, those who just get on with it. I’m thinking Arrau over Horovitz, for example. And, of course, Valerie Tryon. Happy birthday, long may you prosper.

  • Gordon Thompson says:

I was wondering what happened to her!

  • Robert Bailey says:

Wonderful pianist. Her Mendelssohn/Rachmaninoff Scherzo is a model of lightness and ease. Quite the equal of any.
