Back in the 1980s. I taught in a very exclusive private school in s.e. Pennsylvania for several years. We had a governor’s son, a nationally known football star’s son and a daughter of a Hollywood movie star.
Headmaster turned out to have been a pedophile for years. Everyone just thought he was paying extra special attention to some sad little boys. We were so naive. And what was worse, the board let him go and for the reputation of the school covered it up and gave him a glowing recommendation to the boarding school in Long Island, N.Y. where he was hired.
He ended up in prison after too many more years of abusing private school kids in the New England states.
