There’s no publicity like self publicity
I had an interview with him in 1990 for Flemish Television; not long before the World Cup started in Italy. He still knew the name of all the Flemish players (plus one Walloon) who beat Spain with penaltys during the World Cup in Mexico in 1986. He was deeply unlucky he had signed a contract for a concert in Amsterdam in 1990 before he knew the dates of the games of Spain in Italy. Whatever one thinks of Domingo, fact is he was his whole life a fanatical supporter of Real Madrid and the Spanish team.
