BBC Singers chief is upgraded
NewsJonathan Manners has been appointed Director of the BBC Singers ‘following a competitive recruitment process’.
Manners has been the group’s producer since 2016, responsible for artistic direction and broadcast output. He says: ‘I am thrilled to be stepping up to the role of Director of the BBC Singers, whilst retaining the artistic leadership of the group, which has been such a rewarding responsibility for nearly 9 years.’
Stability, at last.
