Moscow-born Alexandra Dovgan, winner of five Russian competitions, has been awarded the Schweizer Klavierpreis Prix Serdang.

Previous winners include the Israeli Ariel Lanyi and the Englishman Martin James Bartlett.

      She is a good, promising pianist who enjoys protection of Sokolov, which makes most promoters invite her for low fees to have the maestro happy (who makes the promoters win money).
