Honestly thought she’d be destined for something a bit bigger. Will this hurt her trajectory?

No…It will make her grow….it´s good to start not with the BSO.

      How about a Scripture Paraphrase???

“She who can be trusted in small things, will be trusted in greater things.”

And, to hit you with a little Gaelic:

      “Gib mir ein break.”

Rhode Island is one of the US Census Department’s Top 50 Demographic Areas (in conjunction with the Fall River Media Bubble).

I’m not questioning this logic. It’s just that in the conducting profession, you can get lost in the crowd if you take a lesser known gig.

Naturally she may have her own reasons for wanting this job (e.g., steady income, influence on an entire season of concerts), and there’s nothing wrong with that. I just thought she’d land somewhere with a higher profile.

Yay Ruth…you deserve all good things!
